What is it about summertime that makes it fly by so? It’s already Wednesday and it feel as if things are whirling along at astonishing speeds! These past couple of days i’ve been working with Warner Brothers in prepping and styling for Ximena Sarinana’s music video for her song”different.” After an exhausting 4 days I can happily say we wrapped another AHHHH-MAZING project.
Here is my working outfit Of The Day. Since we were in the sun all day (16 hours to be exact!) my outfit needed to be breezy & easy. My mini pocket pouch is a Stylist Must-Have…I keep all my little stylist gimmicks, such as safety pins, tape, clips, wire, etc, in there just in case we have a wardrobe malfunction on set.
Ximena and I are decked out in Beso Beso Jewels. Obssesssedddd!
My assistant Laura and I gettin Ximena ready for her final dance scene!
We also styled “Little Ximena” in beso beso jewelry so she can look like Ximena!
Although I am dealing with a HORRIBLE sunburn right now I am very happy with the results and how everything turned out!
Now that we have wrapped another project I am catching up on correspondence and beginning new projects, and finalizing plans!
I am working on a little giveaway soon with Beso Beso Jewelry. Do you guys like the little gold stud elephant earrings Im wearing? BesoBeso named these awwwe-dorable earrings after me… “The Chriselle.” We are thinking about doing a small giveaway for “The Chriselle.” Would you guys rock these studs? Let me know!
In the life of a stylist..sometimes you are sunburnt, exhausted, & burnt out…but I have learned….

Gotta admit..it’s been quite a crazy weekend with a mile long list of fittings & prepping for clients this weekend. Crazy days like these calls for an easy to wear one piece shirt dress! An oversized mens button up you say? hmmm..well on its own it can look quite “sloppy” but its absolutely AHHHH-mazing what a tiny little belt can do. It can cinch in your waist and all together completes an outfit! Rarely will you ever see me without some sort of belt on!
So Im doing something NEW & EXCITING! I have been soooo inspired by all of your lovely comments, FB messages, and tweets I really wanted to do something where we can inspire one another. I will be featuring one girl each week with ahhh-mazing style on my blog and facebook. All you have to do is Tweet me, facebook me, or leave a comment here with your version of the outfit Im wearing with your own little twist to it. Make sure to also leave your Name, Email address, & Tell me what style inspires you! I will pick the chosen Chriselle “It Girl” for the week and feature them at the end of the week!
So I challenge you this week…Grab your dad’s, boyfriend’s, husband’s, or brother’s button up and belt it at the waist with a really nice belt! and dont forget to TWEET ME, FACEBOOK ME, or of course leave a comment HERE with your men’s shirt! Who said she couldn’t wear His clothes? She Wears The Pants! WHOOPS…. I mean She Wears His Shirt!
<<STYLE TIP- Add wooden or brown colored accessories to neutralize a bright bold color. Adding Wooden or brown elements to an outfit tones down a dressier piece and gives it more of an “earthy” feel.>>
Hello darlins’..sorry for the slightly late Friday post but its been quite a hectic day. Been running around town from downtown to Hollywood back to downtown then back to Hollywood..and ALAS a second to breathe over a glass of wine. My assistants and I are prepping for a huge music video shoot …we are styling the artist & all the characters involved! An overload amount of of prepping & fittings it is this weekend.
…Now Im at a dinner for two with a breathtaking view overlooking the cityscape & beyond, while inside, there are gliterring antique chandeliers. My kind of place! Hope you have a stunningly lovely weekend!

Sometimes we all get so caught up in something “new” to wear that we forget about our basics. I had an A-ha moment this morning as I sat dauntingly in front of my closet with thousands of fancy pieces but absolutely nothing to wear (yet again? yes I have those moments too!) Decided to get back to the basics with a loose soft cotton top & my fave pair of jeans!
HOW BORING (you might say) …BUT the key is to Accessorize your basics with the right pieces so you don’t have one of those moments. You know…your “I’ll just roll out of bed and throw on jeans and a T-shirt” type of look.
1. You can NEVER go wrong (especially in the summer) with a Panama hat..its near impossible to not look chic in one of these babies.
2. Love the look of men’s belt (this one is from my fiance’s closet..thanks baby! i’ll put it back in the closet tonight )
3. OBSSESSED with thick wooden bangles. I love the idea of mixing & matching different types & sizes of bangles. Gives an outfit a boho summer vibe!
4. although this Michael Kors crossbody purse fits just about 2 credit cards & a lipstick…definitely not the most practical but YES the most awwwwe-dorable thing I have laid my eyes on this season!
So the next time you say ” A full closet and I have nothing to wear”… Think again. You just might say “An Empty Closet But Everything To Wear”
How do YOU dress up your jeans and T? I would love to know! Leave a comment here, Tweet me, or Facebook me with a pix of how YOU dress up your basics!

It’s only a matter of time before the delirious heat & humidity will come upon us.Summer can be quite uninspiring to dress for especially when all you want to wear is absolutely nothing! During the Summer I relay on my bold prints to do the work for me… keep the outfit simple and focus on intricate detailed prints! Currently obsessed with possibly anything tribal print. Yup…She’s With The Tribe.
Last night had a dinner with a couple of my mentors who have really taught me the ropes to this business. A glass of wine with comforting conversations reminiscing the good ol’ days against a golden pink sunset. An unexpected reminder of how blessed I am….
and within a blink of an eye the week just got quite hectic..just took on an extra project to style a music video. My assistants and I are now out the door in a flurry! Have a lovely day darlins’!

HAPPY MONDAY darlins’….must confess im still in a little haze of happiness from this past weekend. A luxurious and lovely Summer weekend it was…spent most of my weekend in linen & one piece dresses. Pretty much relayed on this Scarf to protect me from the unpredictable bay area weather.
When packing for mini weekend get aways…I have learned to pack quite lightly & rotate items.
Here are my Packing Necessities:
1. Oversized Sunnies 2. Loose casual tank I can pair with anything 3. Shorts 4. Jeans 5. Oversized Cardigan 6. One piece dress 7. Ankle boots (seriously can pair these up with anything!) 8. A pair of heels (just in case we decide to go go out somewhere fancy!) 9. A weekend Purse- This Coach purse (Madison) is absolutely the perfect size to fit all necessities needed while traveling! 10. Accessories- I tend to keep the clothing minimal and bring tons of accessories I can mix & match with.
KEEP IT SIMPLE & BECOME A MASTER AT ACCESSORIZING!
Long leisurely walks in Napa Valley with the family and holding hands with my love watching the sunset on the cliff of Santa Barbara. I’ve learned that sometimes we need to slow down to savor every moment and connect with the ones we love most.
But for now it’s back to reality….Will be working on a project & styling my dear friend Lisa Ling today and will be finalizing details on launching my channel by this week! Cant wait to show you guys our first tutorial we filmed…its pretty Ahhhh-mazing! Hope your week is off to a perfect start!
Summer is officially in full bloom …and you know what that means! It means Being Whisked Away in flowing chiffon dresses & short shorts! Spent the day yesterday with Michelle Phan in Palm Springs shooting something very very special. Special as in my very first youtube video…we will officially be launching my fashion channel!
Heres a little preview on one of the looks. Can you guys take a guess what it is about???
I’ve always been a steadfast believer in the notion that it’s always better to be over-dressed than under. Red & green reminds us of christmas, black & orange reminds us of Halloween, and when I see red leather I think of leopard. (Don’t ask why..I just do!) Paired up this impossibly cool red boyfriend blazer with my red leather mini. Red on Red is quite a bold fashion statement …make sure you break up all the redness in between with a neutral color belt or a strong pattern (such as leopard).
Will be filming a fun tutorial today out in Palm Spring with Michelle Phan…oh boy are we ready to burn. Heard it will be 107 degrees out there! Wish us luck! Have a lovely day darlins’
