A quiet & laceful weekend it was…i found myself spending quality time with my younger sister (Eye It Try It) to organize, plan, and get inspired for my wedding. I’ve always had a longstanding love affair with lace for as long as i can remember.

After taking a week off (due to my wisdom teeth extraction) its now back to business. Back to business with my positively overflowing inbox that slightly (just slightly) gives me a bit of a panic attack. But there is a certain anticipation of things to come, or perhaps the anticipation comes from the start of a new week and so many lovely things to look forward to in the days and weeks ahead.
It’s a new day & new week to conquer your goals and to chase after what you love most!
Hope your week is off to a great start!
In the very midst of much pain (after getting all 4 wisdom teeth extracted) there has pleasantly been time for books, music, glossy magazines and interior designing!
I found myself roaming around the antique markets this past week with a latte in one hand (that I couldn’t even drink) , and yes spotted this beautiful antique chair. And in midst of all my pain( and some help from my friend Vicodin) I knew for certain that le coup de foudre /love at first sight truly does exist.
Whether a vintage chair, a delicate bouquet of the palest flowers, or a flowy sheer maxi ..unapologetically pretty little details add beautiful layers of luxurious elegance & refinement to any room, and best of all a little romance to the everyday.
p.s- i hope you are enjoying these faceless images of me…only if you knew how puffy from the neck up I looked right now…*sigh…that would be a complete different story!
I have been very hesitant to announce this to my followers because there is a certain part of my life I try to keep private..including my family and love life. But Truth be told…still a little in daydreams from last week..and how can i NOT share one of my happiest moments with my followers/supporters? After a dinner by the intoxicating glow of candlelight, comfortable silences and conversations that lasted long into the night.. I found myself saying “Yes, I Do” ….after 2.5 years I am now engaged to my best friend and the love of my life!
And our journey has just begun.
I hope you will give Love a chance where you are….

Tis’ the season for graduations! It seems like yesterday when I walked down that stage with my diploma! *Le sigh..how fast time flies by when you dedicate your life to doing something you love.
Graduation Day is a memorable moment meant for celebrating how much you’ve accomplished these past four years…so you might as well make the most of it with an ahhhh-mazing & unforgettable get up!
Keep in mind your shoes & accessories will be the focal point of your outfit since majority of the time your dress will be covered up! Also make sure your outfit looks just as amazing on camera as in person..so dont forget to take some test photos before running out that door!
Here are some inspirations I put together for you…If I were to graduate again I would definiately be classified as “The Romantic” How about you??
p.s I wanted to make a video on this but i just got my wisdom teeth pulled out yesterday so I definitely dont want to show off my chubby chipmunk face off to the world quite yet. If you guys want more pointers & tips I may possibly film something next week when i am all healed! Xoxo
I have been positively living in my bold haute red pants all fall/winter long but I have completely fallen for these pretty pastel pants. What could be lovelier on an early spring day than the prettiest pastel-coloured pants alongside with your little buddy.
With every shoot there comes a certain sense of anticipation and excitement for the beautiful things that lay ahead . When styling It’s a different way of thinking and a different way of looking at things…you have to look at things for not what they are but what they can be. This editorial being Japanese/Geisha Girl inspired called for rich silk fabrics, layering on dresses on top of dresses on top of dresses, colorblocking, and tons of socks under sandals.
Anticipating to see the final editorial hit stands in July.
Always be inspired..Always Think Outside Of The Box.
Another weekend has fluttered by breathtakingly, and positively filled with friends and laughter and very late nights. This weekend was one of those perfect spring days with bright mornings and starlit nights…those nights you will never forget. Ran around town this weekend in my open-toed sandals, butterflies in the stomach (I haven’t had butterflies since grade school), and a huge smile on my face.
Its been a life changing week I can officially say there are so many more lovely things to look forward to.
Happy Monday! Hope your week is off to a perfect start!
“There are times when only a Mother’s love
Can understand our tears,
Can soothe our disappoints
And calm all of our fears.
There are times when only a Mother’s love
Can share the joy we feel
When something we’ve dreamed about
Quite suddenly is real.
There are times when only a Mother’s faith
Can help us on life’s way
And inspire in us the confidence
We need from day to day.
For a Mother’s heart and a Mother’s faith
And a Mother’s steadfast love
Were fashioned by the Angels
And sent from God above.”
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! I LOVE YOU MOM!
It’s almost a universal dress code for artists to wear all black when working behind the scenes….dont ask why but everyone always comes on set looking sleek & chic in their black uniforms. Today I styled up a fashion editorial for Prestige magazine. It was a japanese inspired theme..so think deep rich colors of silk on silk. It was simply breathe taking.
I received some neon Tom Binns pieces and they are simply THE best pick me up accessory for an all black outfit. Besides Neon colors have officially (fortunately & unfortunately) made a comeback this season. And no im not talking about your bright neon green scrunchies but rather think neons on delicate & feminine pieces.
STYLE TIP: When wearing a simple & basic silhoutte top/dress (like the one above) pair a bright bold accessory to lighten it up!
I know I have been completely lagging on my youtube channel but Michelle Phan & I are hard at work to get this channel up and going for yall soon! So thank you for being patient
With that said.. would you guys like to see a DIY tutorial on how to create your own colorful jewelry like these Tom Binns necklaces (which generally retails from $400- 800) & bracelets? My motto is..if you want it but cant find or afford it…MAKE IT!
Colorblock anyone? Heres a little sneak peek to a new campaign I styled for BesoBeso Jewels!
Style Tip: Try a monochromatic outfit (Ex: White on White, Nude on Nude, Black on Black) with a bright statement piece or pop of color ! Simple & muted yet bold & strong.
Heres a recent image of Jackie (the founder & designer of BesoBeso) & I at the Beso Beso launch party. I also styled Jackie for her big night..she looked stunning in her nude mint green layers & layers of ruffled dress. We are both adorned with BesoBeso Jewels!
When all else fails ladies Just Stack Em up BesoBeso style!
