…and it’s back to reality. Really enjoyed this long weekend with gold and coral sunrises & sunsets. Spent the weekend lost in love and gazing in the possibilities of the night sky, awakened by floral linen mornings, and most of all spent lounging around in my city loft.
I’ve been absurdly in love with spring’s vibrant hues of corals & peach. From my lip shade, to this ahhhh-mazingly flirtacious dress by Matthew Williamson for Macy’s, to my thick chunky heels.
Wind tousled hair, a light linen summer dress, coral lips, and golden sunsets… i’m caught up in the romance of it all. Love is in the air!
I’m sure this week will slip away a little more quickly than any other (it’s already tuesday!) …tons of lovely projects that are in the mix of things! Have a lovely week darlins’

I hope your (long) weekend thus far has been filled with miles and miles of sunshine. I’ve somehow managed to finish prepping all 30 looks for my styling jobs on Mon-Wed…so it has unexpectedly been a pleasantly relaxing weekend with scented candles in the evening, a table for two high above the world….with utterly breathtaking views of the city.
I love how my favorite pair of golden coral silk shorts feel against my luxurious bed linens- the intermingling of the two feels like a rush of spring air.
My current 4 obsessions:
1.) Zara woven wedge heels (obssessed with the white leather against the woven textured wedge)
2.) Vintage Clutch
3.)Isabel Lu silk satin shorts
4.) Mink Pink sleevless tie shirt
Wishing you an astonishingly relaxing weekend and beautiful day off
HAPPY FRIDAY darlins’
Here are some behind the scene images of my styling from a recent shoot for a client. I fell in love & was re inspired by pastels…romantic lilac and golden yellows.
As much as I would like to say I will be stretched out by the pool soaking up the sun ..I surely will be soaking up ideas and prepping 30+ looks for a huge shoot on Tuesday, Wed & Thursday. But my pasty white legs can definitely use some Mr. Sun..hopefully I will be able to sneak a second out!
Hope you have a beautiful weekend with lots of little moments! Also dont forget to soak up on that sunscreen darlins’!
It’s been one of those whirlwind weeks where I simply can’t recall what day of the week it is. I mean with Summer just around the corner arent the days suppose to be longer? I’ve been working dauntingly and endlessly with editorial and campaign projects with my clients. We just wrapped a huge project today… and there goes an item on my checklist. hooray! 1 down 3 more to go for this week.
‘Tis The Days of sunkissed skin, sheer blouses & sexy belted short shorts.
My hours are long…My Days Are Short…But My Shorts Are Shorter.

This past weekend my sister Eye It Try It and I went to go visit some of LA’s best flower markets….I must confess, I can never resist the full ruffly blooms of peonies, especially the pink ones. To think outside of the box one must be inspired…and for me to be inspired (epsecially on a monday morning) a vase full of fresh blooms is almost a necessity.
Love how designers are taking inspiration from fresh blooms from the vase to the runway. lets call this A Fresh Bloomed Closet.
Often times I’m asked what is the best thing I have ever bought and to be utterly honest usually I just dont know how to respond to that question. But after going thru some images last night I didn’t realize how many times I have put my red trousers & red skinnies from rag & bone in rotation.
Spent the weekend re-organising the closets for spring & summertime..it is rather a monumental and somewhat overwhelming task when you are dealing with such limiting closet space. On a brighter note..My dear friend and talented photographer Karla Ticas gave me her camera to play around with …so much more outfit posts coming your way!
Hope you had an astonishingly lovely weekend & your Monday is off to a lovely start!
Last year, around this time, I took a trip to Guatemala (for one of my best friend’s wedding) and I absolutely (die hard) fell in love with their textiles, carved wood, silver & jade jewelry, and of course their colorful hand made fabrics (this explains my obsession with Proenza Schoulers S/S 2011 collection)
But this time around I’ve been obssessing over these eclectic paisley & moroccan prints. Well…Maybe it’s that time of year again to Pack My Bags and Set On A Jet Plane.
…I’ve been in dire need of a change (I’ve had short black hair for almost 4 years now) and I figured If I dont do it now I never will. I shall confess….I’ve always daydreamed of having luxe sassy red hair! To think outside of the box you have got to change …it will re-inspire you in oh-so-many ways!
And there we have it another eventful & productive week has come and gone. so HAPPY FRIDAY darlins’…..for all i know i’ll be frilocking in my red hair & paisley prints this weekend!
OUTFIT BREAKDOWN: Zara Blouse, Zara wedges, Michael Kors rosegold watch, BCBG bracelets, Alexander Wang duffle bag, Cartier necklace
Despite being much more drawn to soft & subtle shades such as peach, ivory, & greys, lately i’ve been inexplicably drawn to wonderfully bright and saturated shades of blue. I always imagine Summer in shades of teal and turquoise, or an utterly perfect shade of that Tiffany’s blue. I’ve always been an avid believer of mixing prints, textures, & layers…it makes an outfit have that much more personality.
In the midst of searching for an utterly perfect color pallette for my wedding…I have found myself mood boarding out my favorite editorials & random images that truly inspires me.
What are some of your favorite color palettes?

There are a few things in a woman’s closet that stand the test of time…and a LWB (little white blouse) is one of those things. I cannot tell you how many times I have put this LWB in rotation..but it’s seemingly perfect for any given occasion. In order for any woman to build a great wardrobe they must start off with the appropriate basics and then build off from there. I paired mine with some bold statement pieces…I’ve had a long love affair with costume jewelry/ bold statement pieces for as long as I know (probably watching my grandma adorn herself with jewels when I was young), and i’ve been quite smitten by anything animal print.
It’s only Tuesday but it’s been a beautiful whirlwind with so many new lovely projects- Working with Victorias Secret on Thursday, prepping to style for 4 new campaigns clients, and filming new tutorials with Michelle Phan for your viewing pleasure!
But in all the while I have been receiving the most utterly charming and impossibly thoughtful messages, comments, & tweets from all of you …and its been quite delightful! Although I may not respond to each comment/message/tweet…know that I read each & every one of them and am utterly grateful for each and every one of you. It’s been a Heartfelt week….thank you!
