Heres a little preview for tomorrow’s outfit post! As much as i love my scarves lets be real..in this 90 degree LA weather..the last thing I want to do is be drenching sweat under my silk scarf that is bundled up my neck! Instead i’ve been wearing my scarf as a cardigan overlay by simply belting it together with my dress. Will be posting the full outfit on tomorrow’s post!
Perhaps one of the best things ever is a vase of fresh bloomed flowers, its amazing what it can do to your mood and your creative space. Bright Blossoms never fail to make everything feel like spring! So this weekend spend the afternoon at the market and pick up a charming bundle in a stunning shade. There’s nothing more enchanting than the golden rays of the sunset against each petal.
Inspired by the golden rays & full bloomed blossoms…. here’s a little sneak peek to the most recent editorial that I styled! The full editorial It will be out in Elle Canada for their next issue!
After overabusing my leopard prints I Found a pair of pretty legit snake printed pants that im kind of dying over. But wearing them to a vegan joint was a complete FAIL on my part last night. My health nut sister Jane wanted to try out RDF (Real Daily Food) and I must say….as legit as my snake printed pants were…gotta admit this vegan food was pretty legit too!
Here are Some of my Spring Must Haves all in this one look!
1. Minimalistic & basic silhouette tops – Blouse by Zara
2. Bold Printed Pants (doesn’t necessarily have to be animal print! ) – Pants by Zara
3. Nude heels – BCBG Maxazria
4. A Collarless blazer – Jacket by Zara
5. Short yet awkward length bed head waves
Besides the 102 degree flaming hot weather today..I will be sizzling along with my new fave sankeprint pants!
Beyond the gym you will NEVER (i repeat….never!!) catch me with a pair of sneakers on but when my friends at K-swiss gifted me with a pair of these ahhhhmazing K-swiss By Billy Reid Venice Surf & Court shoes…. I can now proudly say, “I am no longer a sneaker virgin!! WOOOHOO!!!” Inspired by Alexa Chung and her british prep school, Great Granny, london grunge get up…. I paired these babies with a Michael Kors trench (via my sister jane), a red button up by MANGO, Shorts by J.crew and of course Billy Reid x KSWISS shoes. Thank you Jess & Ryan..see you tonight!
Im sure some of you can relate but lately with those Oh So Comfy leggings back into style..i have put my jeans on the back burner.I mean c’mon nothing beats an oversized shirt with a pair of stretchy leggings, right?…… ummmm WRONG! I’m here to tell you its time to kiss your lovely leggings so-long & goodbye (le sigh). and WHY HELLLLLLLO jeans and may I add with tons of stretch? Michelle Phan and I recently collaborated with Hautelook to show you gals how versatile jeans can be. A pair of good fit jeans can do wonders to your wardrobe, your ‘tude (attitude), legs, and buttocks!
In my everyday wardrobe I always try to mix casual & dressier pieces together to create a well balanced outfit…and Im ALLL ABOUT mixing highs & lows together.

It’s been an intense week… ive been fighting & fighting off this horrible flu I caught..and once I thought I won the battle it slowly creeped back into my life! *le sigh. So I do apologize for the lack of blog updates but I promise I will make up for it this week!!! Here are some newly added babies….Camilla Skovgaard sky high heels. What I love about Skovgaards is their thick thick platform in the front..makes walking on heels easy as ABCs and 123s. Yes its officially a Shoe-gasm.
Looking to update my blog a bit more with YOUR requests. what would you guys like to see more of?

Suede fringe reminds me of cowboys & hippies and silk fringe is reminiscent to the flapper days but it seems as if everyone and their mom (including Mcqueen) is getting their fringe on! Seriously obsessing over Louis Vuitton’s long tasseled earrings… excuse me? Did someone say DIY?
My motto is if you cant find it or afford it then MAKE IT! If its something that bad you need in your closet theres absolutely no reason why you shouldn’t have it in your closet! Don’t let your budget stop you from having your dream closet! Will I buy this $4,100 Fringe Gucci jacket? no probably not. But will I have it in my closet? Yes, absolutely! DIY is the name of the game!
Would you guys want to see a DIY tutorial on this?
Totally reminiscent of the Bianca Jagger days of the 1970s. 40 years later its one of 2011′s hottest spring must haves once again. Like history..fashion will ALWAYS repeat itself. Besides it’s a perfect accessory to protect your skin!
Here I’m wearing an Elizabeth & James blouse, Alexander Wang pants, Alexander wang purse , and floppy hat from Forever 21.
Here’s a quick update…we will be releasing the Spring fashion tutorial sometime this week..Michelle and I finished filming & writing the script for it yesterday! Also just finished editing my very first intro video to my Youtube channel. Hopefully *crossing my fingers* i will be able to get that uploaded by this week as well!
I caught a horrible cold so please excuse the absence on Twitter & Facebook! Im trying to recover asap!
Spent most of the weekend working on some DIY projects with Michelle Phan for our upcoming spring fashion tutorial AND re organizing and decorating my space….It’s quite therapeutic i must say!
Some Pieces Of Me
1. The first image above is of my little sister and I back in the 90′s …that was our first kitty named “Patty”..sadly after realizing I had a huge allergic reaction to cats we gave her away.
2. some La Perla sassiness miss Karla Ticas gifted me on my Bday. Every gal needs a bit of La Perla in their life!
3. Surround & indulge yourself into things that inspire you. Currently reading upon some of my inspirations of Audrey Hepburn, MK &Ash, Victoria Beckham, and of course Domino ( an interior decor book)
4. Love at first sight. Died over these rings while I was thrifting. Bought these rings at an incredible price and they are one of a kind pieces. Theres something so victorious when finding ahhh-mazing pieces at an incredible price.
It’s amazing how a vase of fresh roses can lift up any girls spirits instantly…the same can do with this perfectly tailored little white dress. Another closet MUST HAVE for this spring is a perfectly fitted LWD (Little White Dress). Most of my inspiration comes from past decades especially the 1950s…The cinched in waist line, full skirt, and cat eye frames. Oh what I would do for a time machine to Take Me Back To The Days I’ve Never Lived but am living right now.
