LA FASHION WEEK- FGILA’s Designers and Their Muses

LA based designers stepped out into the spotlight on Thursday, March 18th 2010 with their muses. I believe that LA based designers do not recieve the recognition that they deserve. LA FASHION WEEK is a week to celebrate the coming forth of these merging designers from Maggie Berry, Jesus Estrada, Emiliano Moreno, Lourdes Chavez, David Tupaz, Mona Thalheimer, Mila Hermanovski, Oliver Tolentino, Hanna Hartnell, Michele Bohbot, Lauren Elaine, Jenny Han, Ella Brown, Sue Wong.

LA Fashion week is NOT  NY Fashion week nor will it ever be….but LA is charismatic, quirky, witty, and lighthearted.

Up in the air

I can blog from my blackberry now! Here is a picture us Up in the Air in the 1st row in 1st class with my 1st glass of champagne! Oh and hot tea for my throat to cure my sore throat. I’ve been quite busy and have been so behind on all my magazine studies. I bought this Vogue collection issue to study all the looks on the runway for each designer.. I must admit out of all designers for this season LANVIN was my all time favorite! Alber Elbaz never cease to dissapoint. More blogging and updates from Guatemala coming near you! Xxxx Chriselle

Emilio Pucci Fall 2010

Just got a call from a friend who reps PUCCI and informed me the FALL 2010 collection will be in her hands soon. I got so excited I went onto WWD right away to check out what was showcased. These were my favorite looks.

Hmmm who to dress this season?

Incorporating different textures from Fur, Sequins, Feathers, Lace, and Mesh is HAUTE this season.
